I am really impressed by the Cham jacket. It's got unbeatable features and great styling. I'm particularly impressed by the 3-layer Recon stretch fabric, chamois fleece and Aquagurd zippers for insulation against moisture. It's well worth the price for passionate skiers who want the best gear. I like is so much, I included the Cham in our round-up of Best Men's Ski Jackets, https://renoun.com/blogs/blog/best-ski-jackets-for-men Thanks for the great work you do at Strafe!
This is my go to jacket for cold ski touring days. Amazing stretch for a waterproof jacket and excellent breathability keeps me dry and comfortable.
8 hours out in waist deep snow with 50 MPH gusts @ 10F, knocking out laps like it was nothing. Kept me at the right temperature and not sweating. Love this jacket. Paired up with Nomad bib pants for the best backcountry combo ever. Even blasted through some trees a bit too close, no rips, no scuffs.
I wore the Cham Jacket and Pant combo for 2.5 months in Chamonix last season. From punching holes charging up Aiguille Du Chardonett in the sun, to wet storm riding at Grand Montets, I was dry and comfy in every condition, every day. Super light, mega breathable, athletic yet chill fit. Damn perfect for crushing in the mountains. It is the perfect fit and fabric. It is super light and mega breathable, repels the wet spring snow, fits to move in the mountains and is comfortable and looks good.
So far not so good. Trouble getting the zipper to zip. I washed according to the manufacturers instructions and the welds failed on the bottom seams. Sent back for a warranty but haven't heard anything.
