I’ve gotten out for a few days in this shell, some of them really warm for late January in SW CO and some of them fairy cold/windy. Unfortunately we have yet to have a snowy day for me to wear it to ***** waterproof :( Impressed with the breathability and weight, I really dig the minimalist design. It has very nice pockets on the chest for your skins, I really like the fleece around your chin when it gets cold out. I don’t usually ski with a helmet so the hood is kinda loose, but that’s really my only complaint. If you ski with a helmet it’s probably perfect. Strafe staff were super friendly and my order got to me quickly, very happy with my purchase.
Whether it's a post-work tour, Montana backcountry, or a long day in the Alps, this is the best jacket for the quest! The breathability of this jacket has been brilliant in the warmer temps and is still perfect when the weather decides to move in. It is a no-brainer go-to for touring in any conditions! The only reason why I cannot give this jacket a full 5-star review is I'm already noticing the material is starting to wear through on the cuffs after ~20 days' worth of use. This could be due to rappelling and the rope rubbing, but still am slightly disappointed.
The Cham jacket I received looked too light to be effective in even modestly cool weather but when paired it with a thin layer of insulation it’s perfect. Love the hood styling and dimensions - I never had to pull my gator over my nose even when skiing in higher winds and snow.
I am 5'9" 165 lbs. and the medium fit perfectly. Slim fit with full range of motion. The shell is very breathable and packable.
