The NOMAD BIB is the locals favorite, fundamental to the Strafe line since the very beginning. From the bottom up, supple eVent® DV Flex fabric, a freeride fit, and a seamless waist make this shell pant ready for the deep and wintery days. Combine the fabric’s generous air-permeability, concealed venting, and the super soft, 4-way stretch upper the Nomad will breath well and charge hard any day. The gold-standard in bibs, the Nomad will be your unfailing partner on the mountain and in the backcountry.

Just what I wanted, fit well and all then I noticed the right shoulder strap was sewn on backwards with a half twist in it. Needless to say I am disappointed and consider this unacceptable for a garment in this price range. I have sent 2 emails to strafe to address this and so far have gotten no response
I have not used it yet - will not use it til next season unfort.
Quality bibs for sure, but run long and baggy and have some extraneous features that add weight I ended up returning these based mostly on fit. I'm 6'1 and 180 with a 32-ish waist and got the mediums. Just too much room through, especially the mid-section. And they were a tad long too. As an FYI, I weighed em at ~750 grams - not bad, but less zippers would lighten these up a good bit (see below). Don't know why weight isn't noted given these are semi-backcountry oriented Feature-wise annoyances - both outer and inner (crotch) zippered vents just add weight, chest pockets are vertically zippered down to near the bottom of the pockets so concern re things falling out, most pockets have inner sub-pockets that catch things and are harder to get stuff out of (I learned this from my old strafe pants), don't like the rear pocket (needless weight), don't like cuff zips (already plenty of width to get over boots and just add weight), all zippers are prone to fail so would like less of them On the plus side, well made and I had good durability from my old-old Cham (I think) pants, so presumably these also seem like they'd hold up well I'd recommend, but make sure the size works
Fits like a glove, I love these bibs. I've taken some gnarly tomahawk spills and love not having a wet butt the rest of the day. I ordered a Medium and I'm 6'0" and 180lb.
This is my 3rd pair of Nomad Bibs and the lightness, breathability, and ventilation allow me to regulate heat better then any previous pant that I have owned, while skinning up to my destination!
