United StatesI've used a lot of balaclavas over the years and this is my favorite one ever. Thick fleece ones often get to warm or the bulk gets in the way. Thin wool ones are nice, but quickly wet out and stay wet, or turn into an ice ball. The fleece here is the best balance between warmth and breathability that I've ever used. Even if it starts to get wet, it will fight to dry out. Of note, it is a tight fit. The nice thing is it stays in place with no adjustment, but conversely it isn't easy to pull below your chin.
