Using the new lightweight and ultra air-permeable 4-way stretch 3L Schoeller® Aerobrane™ fabric, we added a minimalistic 1/2 bib to keep snow and wind at bay. The bib is constructed to accommodate various body types while also improving comfort when wearing a backpack or harness. The overall fit has been updated to be more streamlined and articulated, and the re-designed extra tall scuff guards provide additional durability. Every version of the Cham just gets better. Really enjoying the suspenders! Nothing else I’ve tried breathes like the Cham pants. Wouldn’t trade them for anything, and use them most of the winter except on the coldest days.
The ultralight weight of these pants is incredible if you're going for a single-mile or 10+ mile tour. I've used these pants for quick laps for post-work or adventuring on 10+ mile days in the backcountry. The slim fit is perfect when wearing a harness whilst rappelling and the ankle sinches when wearing crampons. They work for any adventure, period. I have two complaints about these pants. The first is the magnets at the top of the fly fell out within 10 hours of use however magnets will cause interference with an avalanche beacon signal, a very minor complaint and my suggestion is to use velcro. Secondly, the bib pockets are quite small and I can barely fit my beacon. Both are minor complaints, but could be some great improvements!

I have only used them twice since purchase, but I am absolutely in love. They are the perfect lightweight pants for backcountry skiing. Good ventilation, and such a comfortable fit.
These are my go-to pants for all of my tours. I get hot quickly on the uphill and these do a great job of keeping me dry from snow while also allowing good ventilation and breathability. Love the more relaxed fit and super comfortable material.
