The first women's specific shell in our line, MEADOW JACKET checks all the boxes. Great for touring, hiking, and lift riding, the Meadow is the answer for all the hard-charging females out there. This jacket uses durable eVent fabric for ultimate air-permeable weather protection and features a women’s specific fit that is flattering while maintaining unprecedented mobility.
This jacket is my favorite shell I have had for skiing on resort or taking up with me in the backcountry. Fits incredibly well. Great length. The magnet on the top is a little hard to get used to. But other than that it works. Looks good. Performs good. Highly recommend for any person looking for a great ski or snowboard jacket.
I love this jacket! It is great for spring and winter days. Just add an incubator for mid-winter freezing temps and you're good to go. It is great for warmer springtime skiing in the Elks too. The underarm zippers help regulate body temperature and keep body heat circulating. Very good looking outer piece, durable and flexible!
I've owned about half a dozen shells the last few years, and this one is the best one I've owned. It truly is a perfectly technical jacket- super breathable, and totally waterproof on storm days. The pockets and zippers are perfectly placed, and every detail of the jacket is well thought out. I also just really love the fit and look of this jacket. It's just long enough, and has a really flattering fit. It's totally my power jacket!
I love my kit. I have the scarlet bib pant to go with it. I coach in a different uniform and every time I put on my Strafe stuff to freeski I feel so pumped and happy to be in my own gear. It's so lightweight and comfortable. The fit is great and it keeps me warm when I need it (I layer with other strafe items) and breaths well when I ski tour. I have all the pockets I need and the placement of them is ideal. The chest pocket is amazing because it's deep. I've accidentally left it open a couple times and panicked because I knew my keys were in there. I haven't lost anything yet because the bottom of the zipper is above the bottom of the pocket enough that everything stayed in! I like to ski with my hood up to keep me extra warm and it works perfectly with my helmet on. Love love love this jacket!
Seriously love the lightweight, quick drying material of this jacket. I've been wearing it on and off the resort; the fit is awesome, length is perfect, with great pocket placement. Typically I tour in a lighter weight jacket, and save my shell for the descent, but I have been touring up in this, adding an insulation at the top, and feeling still feeling very warm (not sweaty!) on the descent. It also has a removeable powder skirt, which I've found to be a night feature. I remove to saved weight for touring, and add it back on for deep powder days.
