Warranty & Repairs Terms

 

By using your Strafe products you agree to the following terms and conditions of the Strafe warranty. 

Strafe stands behind the performance and quality of all our products. All Strafe products are covered by Strafe warranty against manufacturer defects for two years from purchase date. Products under warranty will be repaired or replaced by Strafe at Strafe’s discretion. Products outside Strafe warranty or damaged by improper use, treatment, or care may be repaired at a reasonable cost. 

What’s covered and not covered by warranty?

Strafe warranty guarantees the performance and quality of all our products against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship. Strafe warranty covers the product to the original purchaser with valid proof of purchase for two years from purchase date. Strafe warranty covers products that are found to be defective through typical use and does not cover damaged products subject to neglect, improper use, or abuse. In addition, Strafe warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear; products that have been altered or repaired by 3rd parties other than Strafe or authorized partners; damage caused by rips or tears; damage caused by improper care, storage, or laundering; cosmetic damage including the natural fading of colors; damage caused by abrasions or burns; and any damage occurring after the warranty period. Strafe warranty covers products that were purchased on sale or discount and past season products unless otherwise stated, so long as they are in the two year window from purchase date. Strafe warranty is limited to one repair or replacement per original product purchase. 

YKK zippers are covered under Strafe warranty for one year. We use YKK zippers on all of our products because they are the most reliable and durable zippers available. However, YKK only guarantees it’s zippers for one year and therefore we are only able to cover them under Strafe warranty for this time period. 

To initiate a warranty claim, please use our Contact Us. Strafe will confirm receipt of warranty claim, review your claim, and assign a claim number. Once reviewed, Strafe customer service will establish a course of action, which may include sending your product in for further evaluation. We reserve the right to determine whether a product is covered under Strafe warranty at the time of inspection. If your product is covered, Strafe will repair or replace the product or provide an equivalent at our discretion. If Strafe determines the damage or defect is not covered under warranty, Strafe will either return the product to you or, if possible, propose a repair solution at the claimant’s expense. The warranty and repair process, following evaluation, may take 4-6 weeks depending on the time of year, product or material availability, and repair level.

Customers are responsible for all costs relating to the shipment of products to Strafe. Strafe will then cover the return shipping costs. Please use guaranteed shipping and provide tracking information where possible to reduce any complications in the warranty and repair process. Strafe is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged during shipping and cannot replace parcels lost during return shipment if proof of delivery is unavailable.
